Seasons

Part of my project is working on the different seasons borne out of the Lap of time. The Earth moves around the Sun during a year, changing the line-up between forward tilt and Sun, and hence causing the seasons. A season is one of the major divisions of the year, generally based on yearly periodic changes in weather. In temperate and polar regions generally four seasons are recognised: spring, summer, autumn (fall), and winter. In some tropical and subtropical regions it is more common to speak of the rainy (or wet, or monsoon) season versus the dry season, as the amount of precipitation may vary more dramatically than the average temperature. In other tropical areas a three-way division into hot, rainy and cool season is used. In some parts of the world, special "seasons" are loosely defined based upon natural events such as a hurricane season, tornado season, or wildfire season.

Moving Art

Clouds could be likened to time that has passed away and can never be regained, each shape of cloud is not like the other, on taking a closer look what you find is that the clouds disintegrate into another shape and you are tempted to call it MOVING ART. I have recorded the clouds at the different times of the day and it is interesting to find out that the movements of the clouds are also different, while one of the recordings shows horizontal movement another showed vertical movement I am not sure whether it is because I have taking the shots from different positions all the same the findings are quite satisfying.

Reflections

While I was thinking about the way forward for my project and how the title goes with the stills and video footages collated I began to have second thoughts about the original title Timelap. I began to think maybe I should call it another name more appropriate and the name that came to me was Reflections, I was so convinced that this title was best suited to my project until my meeting with Maria. After my meeting with her she was able to convince me to stick with the title. On taking a second look at the title I was made to realise that everything is in the lap of time.
